1. Roomba iRobot i3+ from iRobot EVO
The iRobot Roomba i3+ EVO is a fantastic robot vacuum that comes with a range of clever features that make it more easy to maintain than other models. The automatic bin emptying feature is among the best features we've ever seen in a robotic vacuum. It's great on carpets and hard floors. It's also easy to set up and use and the app will guide you through the process step-by-step. Its ability to resume where it left off during our tests is an additional impressive feature. It was able to do this for 77 minute on one cleaning, before the battery died.
The i3+ EVO is different from the other robot vacuums that we tested has a self-emptying bin that automatically dumps debris in an external dirt compartment located on the base of its charging once it is full. This helps reduce the need for hands-on maintenance and helps keep the i3+ EVO from overfilling, but it still requires manually empty after each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO dust bin can hold 2.4L which is enough to last through four to five cleaning sessions.
Like the i7, this model uses state-of-the-art floor sensors to create maps and navigate in neat rows. However best robot vacuum robotvacuummops i3+ EVO only stores a single map while the i7 can store multiple. The i7 can also use its map to create no-go zones and virtual barriers, however the i3+ EVO can't.
The i3+ EVO is more effective of removing surface debris compared to some other robovacs we've looked at, but it's not the best in cleaning edges and corners. It's also less gentle on furniture, despite being relatively quiet. It was quite rough on furniture, as it forced chairs away. It also made some collisions against the sides of the bed.
2. Black & Decker Pro Q5
Whether you're expanding your collection of robot vacuums, or are just starting out with the Q5 Pro is a great option. It offers a sleek design, powerful navigation, and efficient automation at a low price. It's the best model for the money available at the moment and is even better than other Roborock models which are more expensive in a variety of ways.

The only drawback is that it's a little more raucous than the other models we test and it doesn't do as well in our owner satisfaction or predicted reliability tests.
The Q5 Pro comes with a large dust container of 770ml, which means that you won't have to empty it as often as other 2-in-1 robots. The 240-minute runtime is quite generous in comparison to other robots we've tested. When the battery is running low, it will automatically return to its dock, where it recharges before resuming cleaning where it began. You can manage the Q5 Pro via the app and also use voice commands using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
This is the first robot we've seen that has 3D mapping. That, combined with some other innovations, helps it perform exceptionally well during our mopping and vacuuming tests. You can schedule cleaning times, set no-go zones and see the battery's status as well as other things. The app is simple to use, however it isn't compatible with Apple HomeKit. The feature is scheduled to be added in 2025. As of the beginning of November, Apple has updated a footnote on its website to reflect that this feature will be delayed until 2025. Several other robots don't work with HomeKit, but many of them are compatible with Siri Shortcuts.

The base station is well-designed, and automates cleaning to a large extent. It also provides incredible obstacles-avoiding and navigation.
This model makes use of a dToF internal LiDAR sensor to map your home, creating efficient cleaning routes. The iMop was a winner in our analysis of coverage and navigation efficiency, and it was very adept at avoiding obstacles, including furniture.
